The Define R5 is our most popular case and it comes in an all white version with window: Fractal Design Define R5 White Window Silent ATX Midtower Computer Case-Newegg.comIt's got a lot of potential as far as customization goes, and the sound dampening's a nice bonus as well.
I like it, except the front door. Is the front door metal or plastic? I'd want to cut into it so wondering how easy it would be. I do like the idea of a removable hard drive cage though.
Though, i do like the design of this one more, putting the hard drives vertically and out of the way. Nice clean interior. Have you got to play with it?
I've built in this case twice, DIYPC D480-BK Black Dual USB 3.0 ATX Mid Tower Computer Case with Build-in 5 x White Fans (2 x 120mm Fan x Front, 1 x 120mm Fan x rear, 2 x 120mm Fan x top), Fan Controller-Newegg.com . I got it for $48.99 and there was supposed to be a $15 MIR, but I haven't received it yet. I honestly think it is one of the best cases out there right now for the money. It comes with 5x fans, dual fan controller, and the inside is really easy to work with. There's also a white one with a window available for a little bit more money: DIYPC D480-W White Dual USB 3.0 ATX Mid Tower Gaming Computer Case with Build-in 5 x Fans (2 x 120mm Blue LED Fan x Front, 1 x 120mm Blue LED Fan x rear, 2 x 120mm Fan x top), Fan Controller-Newegg.com
I was actually eye balling that one. My main concerns are how easy is cable management? Is the mesh on the front removable for painting? Is the whole case flimsy or is it pretty sturdy?
Thanks for the replies guys!

The R5 is pretty much a go to case for most people. Honestly, depending on what you need out of the computer I would upgrade the components before you spent money and time on a new case and modding it.
My wife does nothing but browse the web and flash games, so that is why I'm upgrading and building myself a new rig, and she is getting the old parts. I just have a standard sized PSU, so it isn't going to be huge and take up much room. I honestly just want to have her something cool looking. I like both cases so far, I'll see what she prefers though. I'm gonna probably snag the Fractal Design Define S for myself.

The front door is plastic, about a quarter inch thick with sound dampening material in the inside face.
The Define S is essentially an R5 without drive cages or 5.25" bays. Naturally the door is also gone since there wouldn't be anything for it to conceal. If you're not planning on installing an ODD or more than 5 drives (2 SSD + 3 HDD or 5 SSD) then the S is the way to go since it costs less and has more open space for better airflow, bigger reservoirs, etc.
I've messed around with the Define S here at the office quite a bit but I haven't built a full system in one yet. I use a Define R5 in my office at home, though, and it's certainly been a pleasure to work with. It's nice to finally have some peace and quiet despite the best efforts of the Phenom X4 965 currently installed in it.

Hmm, you're making me sway more towards that case a little more, especially since your processor is similar to the one I'm going to be putting in there. What kind of cooler do you have? I'm assuming liquid... I have a tower cooler so airflow is my main concern.

Most of my rigs are liquid, but the PC with the 965's still just got a stock cooler. It was a screamer before I moved it from its original chassis to the R5. The improvement's no doubt due to a combination of better airflow and sound dampening. I'm sure liquid cooling would make a big difference too, but I figure I really ought to just upgrade the thing if I'm going to go through the trouble.
I do like cases with airflow and that are nice and open. I'm guessing the case will be around for a few months, right? Is there a successor planned?

Anyway, the DIY PC version seems to be exactly the same (for better or worse), except they give you a generic, brandless fan for the single case fan. Although, it is a pretty good fan, as long as you keep it vertical. Its quiet and pushes a decent amount of air. But it gets scratchy, if you mount it horizontally.
